"Stichting Rotterdams Openbaar Vervoer Museum en Exploitatie van Oldtimers" ("Foundation Rotterdam Public Transport Museum and Exploitation of Oldtimers") or RoMeO for short was founded in 1997. However, already since 1987 every summer a historic tram (line 10) runs through Rotterdam. Line 10 is operated with trams from Rotterdam built in 1931 and 1965.
